Plan usage
We count some things per month, from your billing date: the day your subscription started, or the day you created the workspace on the free plan. On an annual plan, the counts still reset every month, on that day. Each count, called a meter, comes with your plan’s limit for it. See them under Settings → Billing, or through the API:
curl -H "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY" \ https://api.limitry.com/v1/workspace/usage{ "periodStart": "2026-10-17T14:30:00.000Z", "periodEnd": "2026-11-17T14:30:00.000Z", "meters": [ { "id": "webhook_deliveries", "description": "Webhook deliveries this month (each event, each endpoint)", "used": 1520, "limit": null }, { "id": "checks", "description": "Allowed live checks this month", "used": 41230, "limit": 100000 }, { "id": "subjects", "description": "Active live subjects this month", "used": 312, "limit": 1000 }, { "id": "test_checks", "description": "Test checks this month — not billed", "used": 880, "limit": 10000 } ]}| Meter | What it counts |
|---|---|
checks |
Allowed checks made with live keys. Refused checks don’t count. |
subjects |
Different subjects with at least one allowed live check. |
test_checks |
Checks made with test keys, against their own allowance. They aren’t billed. |
webhook_deliveries |
Each event delivered to each endpoint. Counted, not limited. |
limit is null when the plan has no limit for that meter. Counts
start again at periodEnd, a month after periodStart. Starting a new
subscription starts a new period. The key needs the
workspace:read scope. These counts are the same whichever environment
asks, because the plan covers the whole workspace. See
Plan allowances for each plan’s numbers.
